INEX Club Charity Ride 2026 Brings Cyclists Together in Cyprus with Support from ARETI and Igor Makarov

Limassol, Cyprus, May 11, 2026 – The INEX Club Charity Ride 2026 concluded successfully in Cyprus on May 10, bringing together more than 120 cyclists from Cyprus, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Austria, and Canada. Organized by INEX Club and supported by ARETI International Group and its founder Igor Makarov, the event continued its mission of supporting youth cycling development in Cyprus.

Supporting the Next Generation of Cyclists

The 2026 edition attracted 160 registered participants and featured three fully supported routes — 200 km, 100 km, and 50 km — designed for cyclists of different experience levels. Riders crossed Cyprus’ scenic roads and coastal stretches under favorable weather conditions, with organized pit stations offering hydration, technical support, and rest areas throughout the event.

More than a sporting challenge, the Charity Ride has become a platform for strengthening the local cycling community and creating opportunities for young athletes. Funds raised through the initiative will help provide bicycles, helmets, protective gear, and essential training equipment for aspiring cyclists in Cyprus.

Igor Makarov’s Continued Commitment to Cycling

As a former professional cyclist, Igor Makarov has long supported initiatives aimed at developing cycling at both grassroots and international levels. Through ARETI International Group, his support for the INEX Club Charity Ride reflects a broader commitment to youth sports, healthy lifestyles, and community development in Cyprus.

Makarov noted that events like the Charity Ride demonstrate how cycling can unite people from different countries and backgrounds while inspiring the next generation of athletes. He emphasized the importance of creating opportunities that help young cyclists develop confidence, improve their skills, and pursue their ambitions in the sport.

Building Cycling Culture in Cyprus

Over the past several years, the INEX Club Charity Ride has grown into one of Cyprus’ notable grassroots cycling initiatives, bringing together athletes, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters around a shared purpose. The 2026 event further reinforced Cyprus’ growing reputation as an emerging destination for cycling development and international sporting events.

For ARETI International Group and Igor Makarov, supporting initiatives like the Charity Ride is part of a long-term vision focused on expanding access to sport, encouraging active lifestyles, and helping young athletes build a stronger future through cycling.
